MUMBAI, October 4 — Tourism Malaysia is strengthening its presence in India through Melange 3.0 in Mumbai as it promotes Malaysia under the Visit Malaysia 2026–2027 campaign.

The agency joined MATTA, MITTA and eight Malaysian tourism stakeholders to build trade partnerships and promote new travel experiences.

India remains a key tourism market, with Malaysia recording 738,709 Indian visitors in the first half of 2026. Tourism Malaysia said visa-free entry and stronger air connectivity are supporting growth.

In July, 176 direct flights operated weekly from more than 10 Indian cities, providing 33,412 seats to Malaysian destinations including Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
