GEORGE TOWN, September 29 — Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow will lead an investment and trade mission to the United States from Sept 28 to Oct 5.
As the state seeks new investments and expansion by existing American companies. Organised by InvestPenang, the mission will include meetings and site visits with corporate headquarters of US investors.
Penang will promote opportunities in IC design, advanced packaging, semiconductor equipment, medical devices and global business services.
The delegation will also brief companies on Penang Silicon Design @5km+, the Penang ATE Campus, infrastructure improvements and policy developments aimed at strengthening Penang’s position as a preferred investment destination.
