PUTRAJAYA, October 9 — Eligible patients can receive follow-up medicines delivered free to their homes from Oct 1 under the government’s Medicine Delivery via Post programme.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil warned Malaysians to register only through Health Ministry facilities and avoid offers on Facebook, TikTok or other unofficial channels.
Registration is free, while patient eligibility and medicine supply will be managed by the Health Ministry.
Pos Malaysia will handle deliveries under the initiative, which provides subsidised shipping for one year and is expected to benefit about 80,000 patients each month, with an estimated RM5 million in subsidies.
