BAYAN LEPAS, October 3 — Motorists can expect intermittent partial night lane closures along Jalan Tengah for 89 days as preliminary works continue for Penang’s Mutiara Line LRT.
The closures will run from Oct 3 to Dec 31 between 10pm and 5am. Works will be carried out in stages between the Persiaran Mahsuri and Jalan Tun Dr Awang traffic light junctions.
Affecting the rightmost lanes in both directions. The closures are required for preliminary utility works under the Mutiara Line’s CMC1 package.
Traffic signs, safety barriers, cones and flagmen will be deployed, while motorists are advised to follow on-site directions.
