KUALA LUMPUR, October 8 — Four Negeri Sembilan traditional chiefs have withdrawn their Kuala Lumpur High Court bid linked to the proposed removal of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.

The judicial review had sought to compel the Menteri Besar to sign a proclamation concerning Tuanku Muhriz’s removal and recognise Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Jaafar as ruler.

High Court judge Norliza Othman allowed the withdrawal but barred the applicants from filing the same application again.

They were ordered to pay RM40,000 in costs to four proposed interveners. A separate related case remains before the Seremban High Court.
