PUTRAJAYA, November 25 – After 17 hours of being sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at the Perdana Putra building to carry out his official duties. He who was wearing a pink Malay shirt accompanied by an escort arrived at 9.52am on Friday morning. Anwar is scheduled to start his duties this morning by scanning the time recorder card before entering his office.
The Tambun Member of Parliament is expected to chair the meeting with the Chief Secretary, Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali. The Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman was sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister at the Small Singgahsana Hall of the Istana Negara in the national capital on Thursday. Earlier, the vehicle carrying the Commander of the Armed Forces (PAT), Tan Sri Affendi Buang arrived at 7.45am followed by Mohd Zuki at 8.16am.

The Ceremony of Awarding the Letter of Appointment and the Ceremony of Taking the Oath of Office and Loyalty and the Oath of Secrecy, completed in the presence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the King Queen, Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandaria .
It thus ended the puzzle after five days of Parliament being in a hanging situation following the 15th General Election (GE15) last Saturday which saw no party succeeding in getting a majority of 50 percent of the contested seats.
