PUTRAJAYA, December 2 – The formation of the Unity Government cabinet will be announced by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim this afternoon. It thus ends the puzzle regarding the exact date of the announcement of the list of ministers and deputy ministers. The announcement press conference will be broadcast live on local television channels.
Anwar’s cabinet list is expected after he stated at the first press conference that the size of the cabinet under his leadership is small. He will also propose that the salaries of ministers in the Unity Government cabinet be reduced following the development of the current economic situation.
