KUALA LUMPUR, December 2 – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Friday night (Dec 2) unveiled his Cabinet line-up, with Barisan Nasional’s (BN) Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) Fadillah Yusof serving as his deputies. As predicted, UMNO President, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Petra Jaya Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof who is also the Senior Vice President of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Sarawak (PBB) were appointed to the position.
Ahmad Zahid also holds the position of Minister of Rural and Regional Development while Fadilah is also entrusted with the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities. The announcement was made by Anwar in a press conference a while ago which was also broadcast live on local television channels.
