KUALA LUMPUR, September 1 – UEM Edgenta Berhad, a leading Asset Management and Infrastructure Solutions company, announced robust financial results for the first half of 2024, ending 30 June 2024 (1H FY2024). The company achieved a revenue of RM1.44 billion, reflecting a 6.4% increase compared to the same period last year, and reported a net profit of RM12.8 million for Q2 FY2024, up 2.1% from Q2 FY2023. UEM Edgenta’s solid performance is attributed to its strategic focus on international markets, securing RM2.0 billion in new contracts, with over 90% of these wins from Singapore, Taiwan, and the Middle East.
The company’s Managing Director and CEO, Syahrunizam Samsudin, emphasized the significant progress in cost savings and operational excellence under the Edgenta of The Future 2025 (EoTF2025) strategy. With a strong order book of approximately RM10 billion, UEM Edgenta is well-positioned for long-term earnings visibility and financial stability.
