KUALA LUMPUR, November 2 – The first batch of 47 participants in the “Digital Leadership Excellence Programme (DLE): Navigating the Tech Frontier” concluded their eight-month journey with an industry visit to Shenzhen, China. Organized by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Huawei Technologies (Malaysia), the visit offered participants valuable exposure to emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and 5G, providing them with insights into global best practices for driving digital transformation.
As part of the DLE, participants from government, academia, and industry showcased innovative solutions to real-world challenges through capstone projects, reflecting the programme’s goal of equipping leaders to foster Malaysia’s digital growth. Huawei ASEAN Academy Vice-Chancellor Oliver Liu emphasized the importance of the experience in empowering participants to lead digital transformation initiatives back home.
