KUALA LUMPUR, November 13 – NTT DATA has strengthened its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of advanced data analytics and generative AI (GenAI) solutions across Asia Pacific (APAC). This collaboration merges NTT DATA’s expertise in industry-specific digital transformation with Google Cloud’s innovations in AI and cloud services. The joint initiative will support key sectors—such as healthcare, finance, and manufacturing—by co-developing tailored data and AI solutions, enhancing operational agility, and fostering sustainable business growth.
Central to this expansion, a new NTT DATA Google Cloud Business Unit will focus on joint market strategies and drive cloud-based innovation in GenAI, modern infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions. This will be reinforced by advanced training programs, aiming to upskill over 1,000 professionals in the APAC region, building on NTT DATA’s existing 2,600 Google-certified engineers worldwide. With global public cloud spending projected to exceed $1 trillion by 2027, the partnership aims to meet escalating demand, targeting a tenfold growth in NTT DATA’s APAC cloud business over three years.
