KUALA LUMPUR, November 17 – Cultprint is thrilled to present “Culture Shock,” a group exhibition running from November 15, 2024, to January 12, 2025, at the former Cziplee store in Jalan Telawi, Bangsar. Curated by Ernest Zacharevic, the show features over 50 artworks from 16 prominent and emerging artists, including Sheena Liam, Azmi Hussin, Bono Stellar, and Kenji Chai.
The exhibition celebrates the blend of Penang’s creative vibrancy with Kuala Lumpur’s urban energy, divided into two levels: the ground floor showcases playful, collaborative works, while the upper floor offers more introspective and conceptual pieces. Highlights include installations by Cloakwork and Bono Stellar, sculptures like TAZONE’s “Writers’ Bench,” and collaborations such as Sheena Liam and Teebai’s embroidered undergarments.
This diverse collection of sculptures, lithographs, photographic works, and unique hand-finished pieces invites visitors to explore art in innovative, immersive ways, reflecting Cultprint’s commitment to bridging contrasting styles within contemporary art. The exhibition will be open Wednesday to Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
