KUALA LUMPUR, December 3 – Vietjet has officially introduced its Kuala Lumpur–Hanoi route, strengthening ties between Malaysia and Vietnam while enhancing connectivity across Southeast Asia. This milestone, inaugurated during Vietnam’s General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Malaysia, marks a significant step in fostering economic, cultural, and tourism collaboration between the two nations. Leaders from both countries lauded the initiative, highlighting its potential to deepen bilateral relations and advance ASEAN’s shared development goals.
Beginning 28 November 2024, the airline will operate daily round trips on this route, doubling its Malaysia-Vietnam flights to 14 weekly connections, including its Kuala Lumpur–Ho Chi Minh City service launched in 2016. To celebrate the new route, Vietjet offers all-in fares starting at RM166 one way, available every Friday on its official platforms. Known for its historical and cultural richness, Hanoi promises Malaysian travelers a vibrant blend of heritage sites, scenic landscapes, and culinary delights.
