PENANG, December 9 – Globetronics Technology Bhd (GTB) has announced a strategic partnership with POET Technologies Inc., a global innovator in photonic device design. This collaboration aims to manufacture and test state-of-the-art Optical Engines, compact modules that enable high-speed data transmission crucial for data centres and telecommunications.
GTB will contribute its expertise in high-precision semiconductor assembly and testing, while POET provides proprietary Optical Interposer technology and designs. This partnership positions both companies to address the surging demand for optical communication solutions, reinforcing Globetronics’ market position and enabling POET to scale production for sustainable growth.
