GEORGE TOWN, December 10 – The Penang Island City Council (MBPP) is extending humanitarian assistance to flood victims in Kelantan, coordinating efforts with the Pasir Mas District Council. Preparations for the relief mission began on November 30, with two MBPP teams comprising 30 volunteers and six drivers set to deliver essential supplies, including mats, blankets, towels, diapers, canned food, and bottled water.

Supported by Sunshine Central, Farlim, and Mydin Jalan Penang, MBPP will deploy vehicles such as recycle trucks, pick-up lorries, and 4×4 vehicles, alongside cleaning equipment like water power jets and pumps. MBPP remains ready to send additional personnel and supplies as weather conditions improve, reaffirming its commitment to supporting disaster-stricken communities in Kelantan.
