KUALA LUMPUR, December 11 – Digital travel platform Agoda has revealed its 2025 Travel Trends survey, spotlighting relaxation, family trips, and exploring new destinations as the top motivations for travelers in Asia. According to the survey, 75% of respondents prioritize unwinding from daily routines, while 40% of Malaysians plan family-focused travels, highlighting a collective emphasis on quality time and stress-free getaways.
Notably, 84% of travelers aim to visit new destinations, with theme parks emerging as a popular draw for over one in eight respondents. Agoda’s Chief Product Officer, Ittai Chorev, emphasized the platform’s commitment to fulfilling diverse travel aspirations: “Whether it’s relaxing with loved ones or discovering new places, Agoda is here to make every traveler’s journey unforgettable.” With affordability in focus, 65% plan to spend under $250 per night, reflecting a trend toward budget-conscious travel.
