According to dark web threat intelligence group StealthMole, samples of Malaysian ID cards have been shared online as proof of the leak, sparking nationwide concerns about identity theft and financial fraud.
StealthMole, through its Fusion Intelligence Center, warns that the ramifications of this breach could be severe, potentially leading to widespread criminal activities. Authorities are urged to take swift action to secure sensitive data and mitigate the risks posed by this unprecedented leak.
