KEDAH, December 24 — EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a global leader in lithium battery production, has officially launched its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Padang Meha, Kedah. The facility, set to create 2,000 local jobs with a focus on technical expertise, will cater to the power tool and electric two-wheeler markets across Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America when operations commence in Q1 2025.

The launch ceremony was attended by key government and business leaders, including MIDA CEO Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid and EVE Energy Co-founder and CEO Liu Jianhua. Liu emphasized the factory’s role in enhancing global manufacturing and delivery capabilities while deepening cooperation between China and Malaysia in the new energy sector.

EVE Energy also signed strategic agreements with companies such as Greenworks, Chervon, and JTI, marking a significant milestone in its global business expansion.
