LAS VEGAS, January 16 – At CES 2025, Intel introduced its groundbreaking whole-vehicle platform, a comprehensive solution designed to accelerate the transition to software-defined vehicles (SDVs). This platform integrates high-performance compute, adaptive control units, AI capabilities, and advanced graphics to optimize vehicle architecture while addressing scalability and cost challenges.
The newly unveiled Adaptive Control Unit (ACU) U310 supports real-time, safety-critical functions in electric vehicles (EVs), improving energy efficiency by up to 5% and enhancing driving performance. Intel also announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch the Intel Automotive Virtual Design Environment, enabling seamless transitions between virtual and physical hardware setups during vehicle development.
This innovation, coupled with the upcoming Intel® Arc™ B-series Graphics for Automotive, underscores Intel’s commitment to delivering scalable, AI-enhanced solutions that redefine modern vehicle design, from cloud to car.
