KUALA LUMPUR, January 16 – Celebrating two decades of excellence, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has unveiled a dynamic roadmap for 2025, highlighting its contributions to Malaysia’s business events industry. Over 20 years, KLCC has hosted 21,825 events, welcomed nearly 30 million delegates, and contributed RM12.3 billion in economic impact. This year, the venue boasts a robust calendar with 60 confirmed international and domestic conventions, expected to draw over 180,000 delegates, alongside 70 corporate meetings and events.
Key highlights for 2025 include hosting the International Petroleum Technology Conference (February), the International Vulvovaginal Disease Update (April), and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry Congress (July). Sustainability remains central to KLCC’s growth, with eco-friendly initiatives and modern upgrades like advanced LED screens enhancing delegate experiences. General Manager John Burke emphasized the importance of partnerships, including with MyCEB, in positioning Kuala Lumpur as a global events hub, aligning with the Centre’s commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship.
