KUALA LUMPUR, January 24 – The much-anticipated Musical Treasures production by renowned producer and choreographer Farah Dato’ Seri Sulaiman promises to captivate Broadway enthusiasts while raising crucial funds for Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY). Taking place on January 18 and 19 at The Platform, Menara KEN TTDI, the show will feature iconic hits like Mamma Mia! and Hello Dolly!, performed by over 50 talented artists.
With a goal to raise RM300,000 for CRMY, proceeds from Musical Treasures will fund groundbreaking initiatives like the MeMoSA® mobile screening app, Malaysia’s first oral cancer vaccine, and the Patient Navigation Programme (PNP), which recently earned recognition from the World Health Organization. “This event combines the magic of theatre with a meaningful cause, empowering us to improve cancer care and survival rates,” said CRMY CEO Andy Khoo.
Special guests Ning Baizura and Dato’ Leonard Tan will grace the Gala Night on January 18, adding star power to this noble initiative. Ticket donations start at RM80 for matinee shows and RM150 for Gala Night passes, with all contributions above RM50 eligible for tax-exemption receipts.
