LONDON, January 30 — CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (CIMB Group) co-hosted the inaugural Invest Malaysia 2025 series in London, uniting over 200 global institutional investors with a combined asset under management of USD50.7 trillion. Themed “Malaysia’s Economic Resurgence, Driving ASEAN’s Growth,” the event highlighted Malaysia’s resilient economy, strategic trade agreements like BRICS and CPTPP, and its leadership as ASEAN’s 2025 chair.
CIMB Group CEO Novan Amirudin emphasized Malaysia’s commitment to fostering global economic ties through policies like the MADANI economic framework, New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP), and National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). With initiatives such as the National Semiconductor Strategy, the country aims to reinforce its competitive edge and attract sustainable investment.
CIMB thanked event partners Bursa Malaysia and HSBC Malaysia for their collaboration in promoting Malaysia as a premier investment destination.
