KUALA LUMPUR, February 6 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today reaffirmed the Madani Government’s commitment to optimising the nation’s economic wealth for the benefit of all segments of society.
In a Facebook post, Anwar emphasized that the government’s efforts would focus on ensuring that the economic development of Malaysia benefits everyone, particularly smallholders, farmers, fishermen, and other players in the national food supply chain. Anwar’s statement followed the royal address by Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, during the opening of the First Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Parliament.
The King called for proactive measures to strengthen the agriculture sector and empower the Bumiputera economy. In response, Anwar underscored the importance of adopting advanced technologies and ensuring that government services are enhanced, contributing to a competitive and prosperous Malaysia under the leadership of the King.
