KUALA LUMPUR, February 8 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has left the country to undergo medical treatment abroad, accompanied by his sons, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar.
Istana Negara confirmed in a statement on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page that the matter has been communicated to the Conference of Rulers and the federal government. The statement also urged Malaysians to pray for His Majesty’s swift recovery and continued good health.
