World Skate has named Brazilian skateboarding icon Letícia Bufoni as Chair of the International Skateboarding Technical Commission, making her a key member of its Executive Board. A five-time X Games gold medalist, Tokyo Olympian, and Guinness World Record holder, Bufoni will oversee contest formats, point allocations, and rankings while representing the views of global skateboarding leaders.
Expressing her vision for the sport, Bufoni emphasized skateboarding’s continued growth, particularly for women, and its evolution since joining the Olympics. She aims to expand opportunities, improve competitions, and inspire new generations of skaters worldwide as the sport progresses toward the LA28 Olympics.
