KUALA LUMPUR, February 19 — World Network has officially launched Android support for World ID Credentials in Malaysia, enhancing global accessibility and enabling broader participation in its privacy-preserving digital ecosystem. Initially introduced on iOS in select countries, the expansion now allows Android users to verify their World ID with passports, unlocking additional benefits and strengthening security.
Beyond user access, this expansion presents significant opportunities for developers by facilitating direct engagement with a verified, human-based audience. With over 23 million participants and a rapidly growing Mini Apps ecosystem, World Network simplifies app distribution while eliminating barriers like high costs and bot-driven traffic.
“Expanding Android support for World ID Credentials is a major milestone in making the World Network more accessible globally,” said Ajay Patel, Head of World ID at Tools for Humanity, emphasizing its impact on user adoption and developer growth.
