KUALA LUMPUR, February 25 – Garmin Malaysia has unveiled the Descent G2, a cutting-edge watch-style dive computer designed to enhance underwater exploration with advanced dive modes, a vibrant AMOLED display, and eco-friendly materials. Crafted for divers of all levels, the device offers multiple dive functions, a built-in compass, and a dive readiness score, ensuring optimal performance in and out of the water.
The Descent G2 is made with recycled ocean-bound plastics, reinforcing Garmin’s commitment to sustainability while delivering up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. Beyond diving, the Descent G2 integrates Garmin’s health, fitness, and connectivity features, including 24/7 heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and GPS mapping for dive entry and exit points.
Available from February 21 at RM3,459, the device can be purchased through Garmin’s e-store and authorized retailers. To showcase its capabilities, Garmin will offer hands-on experiences at the International Diving and Resort Tourism Show (DRT Show) from February 21-23 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
