KOTA KINABALU, February 18 – Two penalties from Darren Lok helped Sabah FC secure a 2-2 draw against Sri Pahang FC in a thrilling Liga Super match at Stadium Likas. Darren put Sabah ahead in the 21st minute before Adam Nor Azlin’s long-range strike leveled the score two minutes later.
Kpah Sherman then gave Sri Pahang the lead just before halftime, but Darren struck again from the penalty spot in the 58th minute to rescue a point for the home side. Meanwhile, in another Liga Super clash at Stadium Bandaraya, Penang FC and Kuching City FC played out a 1-1 draw. Jordan Mintah’s 74th-minute goal for Kuching City was initially ruled offside but later awarded after a VAR review.
However, Penang responded in the 86th minute when substitute Alif Ikmal’s cross led to the equalizer, ensuring both teams settled for a point each.
