JOHOR BAHRU, March 6 — The Invest Malaysia Facilitation Centre Johor (IMFC-J) officially opened today in Forest City, marking a major step in enhancing investment facilitation for the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). Inaugurated by HRH Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Regent of Johor, the center is designed to simplify and accelerate investment procedures, attracting high-impact investments in advanced manufacturing, digital technology, and sustainable development.
Chief Minister Dato’ Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi highlighted that the IMFC-J will serve as a dedicated platform to boost Johor’s position as a dynamic economic hub. MITI Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz emphasized IMFC-J’s role in ensuring seamless investment processes, citing Malaysia’s success in swiftly implementing approved projects. Supported by MIDA, IRDA, and Invest Johor, the center aims to reduce bureaucratic hurdles, offering a one-stop solution for investors.
With a commitment to efficiency, innovation, and sustainability, IMFC-J strengthens Johor’s role as a key economic gateway, fostering strategic investments that drive long-term economic growth in the region.
