KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 – The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) recently collaborated with Charterhouse Malaysia to host a Dragons’ Den-style business competition, challenging students from top private schools to develop innovative solutions for enhancing the venue’s food and beverage (F&B) business. As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Centre provided students with real-world industry exposure, honing their strategic planning, problem-solving, and business acumen.
The competition saw teams from seven schools pitch market-ready concepts, with winning teams from Help International School, Garden International School, and the British International School Kuala Lumpur set to refine and implement their ideas with the Centre’s F&B operations team. This initiative aligns with the Centre’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, reinforcing its commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration.
