KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 — Pos Malaysia Berhad invites Malaysian students aged 9-15 to participate in the 54th International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People 2025, organised by the Universal Postal Union (UPU). This year’s theme, “Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you,” encourages young writers to reflect on marine conservation and the importance of protecting oceans.
In line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14, the competition fosters literacy, creativity, and environmental awareness while highlighting the role of postal services in communication and global sustainability. Participants stand a chance to win cash prizes and represent Malaysia in the international competition. The Grand Prize winner will receive RM1,000 and a certificate, with additional prizes for runners-up and schools.
