GEORGE TOWN, March 19 – Wawasan Open University (WOU) has formalized strategic partnerships with TTVision Technologies, Oppstar Technology, and Clarion Malaysia through the signing of three Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen Malaysia’s semiconductor and manufacturing workforce.
The collaboration aims to upskill 200 technical and engineering professionals through industry-specific certifications in IoT-Enabled Manufacturing Analytics, IC Design, and Smart Manufacturing. Supported by InvestPenang, NCER, and HRD Corp, the initiative aligns with national talent strategies, reinforcing Penang’s position as a premier hub for high-tech expertise and innovation.
