PORT DICKSON, March 14 – Tourism Malaysia continues to reinforce its collaboration with industry players through the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (TMM2026) Engagement Session held at Lexis Hibiscus, Port Dickson. Officiated by Dato’ Shaharuddin Abu Sohot, Secretary-General of MOTAC, the session gathered government agencies, tourism associations, airlines, hoteliers, and travel operators to discuss strategies for enhancing Malaysia’s tourism industry.

The government has allocated RM130 million to boost air connectivity through various grants, with a focus on attracting key markets from West Asia, China, India, and Central Asia. Malaysia aims to welcome 45 million visitors and generate RM270 billion in tourism revenue by 2026.
