Bhd. has broken ground on its RM500 million Phase 3 expansion in Batu Kawan, Penang, marking a significant step in Malaysia’s high-tech manufacturing landscape. The 380,000-square-foot smart factory will integrate cutting-edge automation, AI-driven analytics, and IoT-enabled processes, reinforcing Hotayi’s leadership in smart manufacturing while creating 1,000 high-skilled jobs.
The ceremony, attended by key government officials and industry leaders, highlighted Hotayi’s commitment to innovation and Malaysia’s position as a global electronics hub. This investment aligns with Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030, driving technological advancements and local talent development to support the nation’s growing industrial ecosystem.
