KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 – The International Women’s Association Kuala Lumpur (IWAKL) organized its inaugural IWAKL Iftar Infaq Tautan Kasih Ramadan 2025, celebrating Ramadan by extending support to 115 underprivileged individuals, including orphans, single mothers, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Held at Dorsett Grand Subang, the event was graced by Political Secretary Nurin Aina Abdullah, representing YB Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa, alongside foreign dignitaries and sponsors. IWAKL President Sherrie Aljunied-Eitler presented RM2,000 each to three beneficiaries—Rumah Amal Baitul Kasih, Mahaad Tahfiz Al-Falahiyyah, and OKU Sentral—while orphans received ‘Baju Raya’ and goodies, and single mothers and PWDs were gifted food basket.
