KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — PKR information chief Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has announced his candidacy for a position in the party’s Central Leadership Council (MPP) in the upcoming party elections this May. Speaking at his Lembah Pantai Hari Raya open house, Fahmi said the decision was made after engaging with party leaders nationwide and assessing the need for renewed energy within the council.

The Communications Minister expressed his commitment to a healthy and dynamic campaign, pledging to contribute to a leadership team that will guide PKR and its unity government allies into the 16th General Election. The party’s divisional polls run from April 11 to 20, with central leadership elections, including for the Youth and Wanita wings, scheduled for May 24.
