KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — FedEx has launched its first direct flight from Singapore to Anchorage, becoming the only logistics provider offering non-stop connectivity between Southeast Asia and the U.S., significantly boosting trade efficiency for Malaysian businesses.

Operating six times weekly with a dedicated Boeing 777 freighter, the new route streamlines shipment consolidation from Kuala Lumpur and Penang, enhancing supply chain speed and reliability for key sectors like semiconductors, electronics, and medical devices.

This strategic move strengthens Malaysia’s global trade link with the U.S., empowering local exporters to navigate international markets with greater ease and confidence.
