KULIM, May 7 – Ferrotec Holdings Corporation has officially broken ground on its second high-technology manufacturing facility in Kulim, Kedah, marking a RM1 billion investment that reinforces Malaysia’s strategic role in the global semiconductor value chain.

Spanning nearly 1 million square feet and set to feature over 700 CNC machines powered by Industry 4.0 technologies, the new plant will create more than 1,000 high-value jobs and elevate Ferrotec’s precision manufacturing capabilities for global markets.

This expansion brings Ferrotec’s total investment in Malaysia to RM1.9 billion and aligns with the goals of Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030, further solidifying the country’s status as a premier destination for advanced manufacturing and digital innovation.
