KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 — The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has unveiled an upgraded Airline and Airport Performance Dashboard designed to boost transparency and accountability across the aviation sector. The revamped tool offers comprehensive data on on-time performance (OTP), cancellations, delays, and disruption causes for both domestic and international airlines operating in Malaysia, including major carriers like AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, and Firefly.

Aligned with the Airports Quality of Service (QoS) Framework, the dashboard also tracks airport performance, offering user-friendly metrics and interactive insights. Mavcom executive chairman Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kasim emphasized that airlines must maintain a minimum of 85% OTP and keep cancellations below 20%, or risk impacts on their Air Traffic Rights (ATR) applications.

“The dashboard empowers both industry stakeholders and consumers by promoting informed decision-making and driving service excellence in Malaysian aviation,” he added.
