LANGKAWI, May 20 — The Maritime Segment of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA’25) will officially open its doors from 20 to 24 May at Resorts World Langkawi (RWL), with free public access from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
The exhibition begins with a Gracing Ceremony and the prestigious Fleet Review, featuring 32 naval vessels—including 12 international ships from countries such as Japan, Italy, the United States, and Russia, and 19 Malaysian assets led by the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) and Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
On 21 May, the RMN will host the Malaysia Maritime Conference at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC), themed “Malaysia: A Maritime Nation – Synergizing Good Governance Through Effective Policies for Maritime Prosperity.”
The Maritime Segment will also present both static exhibitions and daily live maritime demonstrations involving TLDM, PDRM, APMM, Bomba, and Customs units, with special forces joint displays at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day. Visitors can enjoy free ferry services to view anchored naval ships up close.
LIMA’25 marks its 17th edition with record participation—860 exhibitors from 24 countries, including 426 international and 434 local companies. Themed “Today’s Innovation, Tomorrow’s Achievements,” the event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Defence and GEC Sdn Bhd.
With 140 delegates from 46 nations, 57 aircraft in aerobatic and solo shows, and 43 static air assets on display, LIMA’25 continues to solidify Malaysia’s status as a strategic hub for global maritime and aerospace defense cooperation.
