LANGKAWI, May 21 — Ground Team Red Sdn Bhd (GTR), Malaysia’s leading ground services provider, officially launched its premium Private Jet Handling service at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2025, marking its entry into the high-end VIP and business aviation segment.
The move, seen as a strategic expansion, was further reinforced by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Weststar Aviation Services and Sapura Aero Handlers, positioning GTR as the official ground handler for non-scheduled flights including private jets and military aircraft.
Witnessed by Deputy Transport Minister YB Hasbi Habibollah, the launch underscores GTR’s commitment to innovation and service excellence. CEO Musdalifa Abdullah described the initiative as a milestone in GTR’s growth, promising tailored, high-performance ground services across key Malaysian airports.
As the nation strengthens its aviation infrastructure, GTR’s premium offering is set to bolster Malaysia’s standing as a regional aviation hub.
