LANGKAWI, May 24 — At the 2025 Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA), Airbus Defence and Space reaffirmed its deepening defence partnership with Malaysia, marking a decade of successful A400M operations with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). With over 13,000 flight hours, Malaysia remains the most active A400M operator globally, using its fleet for military, humanitarian, and peacekeeping missions.

Airbus also announced an expanded In-Service Support contract for Malaysia’s A400M fleet and expressed interest in further growing the fleet. The company is actively promoting its A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) and C295 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) to enhance Malaysia’s aerial refuelling and maritime security capabilities, reflecting Airbus’ continued commitment to supporting Malaysia’s strategic defence objectives and regional security.
