KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 – The 2nd China-Malaysia Film Culture Festival launched today at GSC Mid Valley Megamall, spotlighting a diverse lineup of heritage restorations, contemporary films, and groundbreaking discussions on XR and AI in cinema, including the announcement of the first-ever XR co-production between Malaysia and China.
Organised by Lomo Pictures with support from FINAS, and attended by Deputy Minister of Communications YB Teo Nie Ching and FINAS CEO Dato’ Azmir Saifuddin, the festival celebrates cross-cultural cinematic exchange and runs until 8 June across Kuala Lumpur and Penang, before continuing to Xi’an, China.
