A new report by Tenable warns that businesses across Singapore and Southeast Asia face critical cloud security vulnerabilities, with 9% of cloud storage resources found to contain sensitive data and over half of organisations embedding secrets within workloads.

The findings expose millions of records to potential breaches and regulatory non-compliance, especially under strict regional laws like Singapore’s PDPA and Malaysia’s Data Protection Act.

Tenable urges businesses to prioritise visibility, access control, and secure secret management across cloud infrastructures to mitigate escalating risks.
