SEPANG, June 27 — A 20-year-old local university student was found murdered in her condominium unit in Cyberjaya on June 24, with police confirming signs of blunt force trauma to the head and no evidence of forced entry.
Sepang police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said the victim was discovered unconscious by a friend at around 10am and was confirmed dead at the scene shortly after officers arrived.
Authorities have since classified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code and revealed that several personal items, including a laptop, mobile phone, ATM card, and cash, were missing from the scene.
Police are currently recording witness statements and working to identify and apprehend the suspect. The public is urged not to speculate or spread false information that could hinder the ongoing investigation.
