KOTA KINABALU, July 27 – Tourism Malaysia Sabah has unveiled the “Mansau-Ansau North Borneo Trail: Culture, Adventure & Nature” program to spotlight northern Sabah as an emerging travel gem.
Held from 4–8 July, the initiative explored hidden destinations across Tamparuli, Tuaran, Kota Belud, Kota Marudu, and Kudat, promoting rich cultural heritage, community-based tourism, and natural wonders in support of the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign and Visit Malaysia 2026.
Highlights included visits to Tip of Borneo, Floating Coral Bar, and Walai Tobilung for authentic cultural experiences, alongside community crafts in Kudat and Kota Belud, and ecotourism spots like Aura Montoria and the Tembara River Cruise.
Featuring media, influencers, and industry players from Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, and Brunei, the program aligns with Tourism Malaysia’s strategy to boost digital storytelling and drive interest in rural destinations through immersive travel narratives.
