BUTTERWORTH, July 20 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has made it clear that new housing developments will no longer be approved unless they include essential facilities such as schools, preschools, and nurseries.
Speaking at the groundbreaking of the SkyWorld Pearlmont Rumah Bakat Madani project, Anwar emphasized that integrated planning is crucial for residents’ well-being, cost savings, and child safety.
He lauded the Rumah Bakat Madani project for incorporating a vertical school and a central park, as well as being Malaysia’s first development using Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) technology.
The project offers freehold units with full amenities and aims to set a new standard for affordable, family-friendly housing.
