KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today announced a series of impactful support initiatives for Malaysians, reflecting the government’s commitment to ensure the benefits of the country’s strong economic rebound reach the people.
With GDP growth projected at 4.5% in Q2 2025 and the ringgit appreciating over 5% against the US dollar, the Prime Minister stated that these gains must translate into real improvements in people’s lives. As part of immediate relief, the government will distribute a one-off RM100 credit to all Malaysians aged 18 and above through MyKad, starting 31 August 2025.
