KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to table the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) in the Dewan Rakyat today, outlining the nation’s five-year development roadmap from 2026 to 2030.
Titled ‘Melakar Semula Pembangunan’, the plan was crafted through broad stakeholder engagement and aims to ensure fair and inclusive growth across all sectors and communities. Scheduled for noon after the morning question session.
The 13MP tabling will be followed by debates beginning next Monday, spanning eight days with ministerial responses starting August 18. Other issues on today’s agenda include the rights of the Orang Asli community.
Udates on the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid registration, teacher placement concerns, and efforts to tackle the national shortage of engineers and AI talent.
