KUALA LUMPUR, August 17 – The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has clinched six prestigious international conferences for 2026 and 2027, projecting a direct economic impact of RM77.5 million for Malaysia.

Attracting over 6,150 delegates across sectors such as aviation, global health security, clean-energy technology, and women’s health, these wins reinforce the nation’s standing as a premier destination for knowledge-driven international events.

General Manager John Burke highlighted the Centre’s strategic role in fostering global partnerships, talent development, and sectoral innovation aligned with Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030.

Major conferences include the Global Health Security Conference 2026, Energy Tech Summit Asia 2026, and the 85th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences 2027—cementing the Centre’s role not just as a venue.

But as a national asset driving economic and intellectual growth.
